Premios Xerais e Pequenos Castigos Concretos
Fin de semana do Xerais en Vigo e na Illa de San Simón. Mes intenso como xurado do premio de novela 2007 (13 orixinais son moitos para ler a fondo). Decisión apretada, pero finalmente impúxose Contra o Cardume, primeira obra da viguesa Rexina Rodríguez Vega. Era a miña segunda favorita para levar o premio e alégrome de que o gañase. Pero sempre queda unha espiña cravada cando por un só voto non gaña a novela que cres mellor. E cando ese voto de desempate é de orde moral porque a novela trataba do independentismo e a loita armada en Galiza a espiña crávase máis fonda (primeiro castigo concreto).
De agradecer foi o ex libris personalizado de agasallo co que nos obsequiou a editorial aos membros do xurado. O amigo Fran Alonso foi un perfecto anfitrión. A habitación interior na novena planta do Hotel Zenit resultou un pouco abafante. A compaña de Anxo Angueira e Lara Rozados na Illa de San Simón e despois en Matamá no show do Leo foi o mellor da noite. Queda pendente o proxecto dun Vieiros Rosa (todo se andará…) O segundo pequeno castigo concreto foi o discurso Anarquista de Chanel nº5 lido con voz dourada por quen ten problemas para asociar rostros con nomes e o que é peor; discursos con comportamentos.
Un premio extra ofrecéunolo o xenial músico de Moaña Xavier Blanco, quen interpretou pezas primeiro no auditorio de San Simón e logo nunha auténtica foliada ao aire libre onde o acompañamos varios espontáneos con cunchas e pandeiretas. O viño xa falaba por nós (un Rosal estupendo).
De volta a Vigo, parada no De Catro a Catro con truquiños de maxia e un pouco de quiromancia e todo… Sempre me gustaron por certo as persoas con Xúpiter e Venus ben rufos. E Matamá…. O show do Leo foi outro premio. Ser cuncheiro para a nosa mini revolución de furancho encantoume. Alí non pegaría o Chanel nº5 nin outro tipo de cravos máis que os do Afonso.
E finamente Manteca Jazz!! Onde houbo jam ata altas horas con GdJazz, Felipe Villar, Iago Vázquez, Chus Pazos, Juansi Santomé. Curiosamente, os neofuncionarios do jazz en Galiza (que facían acto de presencia na esquina da barra) non tocan nunca…. Claro que se o fixeran quedarían máis en evidencia do que xa o están. Irremediablemente iso suporía o terceiro castigo concreto. Mellor así.

Que nun certame literario se decida finalmente non premiar unha obra de ficción porque a personaxe protagonista é a avogada dun preso independentista galego, aducindo motivos de corrección política, é mais unha proba da falta de madurez dos presun…
A ver, tampouco simplifiquemos as cousas: medio xurado estabamos “dende a porta”, o outro medio estaba con “Cardume”, e outra persoa coa terceira finalista. Empate. No voto ponderado, a gañadora foi Cardume, e á hora de votar entre dúas, foi a máis votada tamén (3-2). Non é que houbese censura nin presión ningunha, simplemente, cada membro do xurado votou polo que considerou mellor. Que nesa consideración entrasen ou non cuestións ideolóxicas é outro tema, pero cadaquén…
Aínda así é unha mágoa que haxa algún cadaquén que continúe con ese medo a que se fale de política contemporánea e máis dunha cuestión que, por máis que tenten obviala, nos afecta a todos e todas. De todos xeitos tamén me alegra ver que non foi cousa da editora.
